Outside of this TOTV site, the Daily Sun Newcomers Guide is worth the $5.
It has a lot of tips and history (and a lot of ads ;D )

PS - you have to stop by their office to pick it up. They're on Rolling Acres Rd (I think is the name) between Spanish Springs and 466
