Given that the drug trade is behind a lot of the animalistic behavior and riotous actions in Baltimore, this article caught my eye.

At some point, if we ever get serious about reducing the hellhole aspects of life in the inner city, we will find a way to crush the drug trade. Yes, other things need to happen too like getting rid of liberal mush policies that destroy the black family and foster poverty. But, squashing the heroin and other hard drug dealers would be a start. If anyone has ever seen the HBO series "The Wire" you'll know what I'm referring to.

I would also expect that the drug trade in Indonesia will plummet since the consequences for these type crimes are now deadly serious. Indonesia is a Muslim country and, unlike their Middle Eastern brethren, have never really seemed to go wacko radical Islamist. But, they instead enforce the law which makes for a better and safer society. I also think the firing squad is an efficient way to do it, and further aids with the deterrent effect.
