Default Lifestyle Preview

We've been here for six days on our lifestyle preview. It's been one of the most relaxed vacations we've ever had. They put us up in the Cottages at LSL. We got a beautiful cottage, a free golf cart, and two bicycles. Everything looks like new. Also found out that if you use your ID number and the last four digits of your ID number, you can sign onto the wireless internet right at the cottage. (This is the way you log onto wireless at the recreation centers.)

We're two houses from the pool here in the Cottages area.

We don't play golf, so don't have any info about that. We used all our "coupons" to the different restaurants and saw two movies. Having the coupons, we saw areas of the Villages that we might not have seen otherwise because we needed to find the restaurants. Every meal we had was enjoyable. My husband absolutely loved the steak at the Cattle Barron's.

Our sales rep took us to see the new areas and also to the woodshop, as my husband was very interested in it. It's absolutely beautiful, has so much equipment, and is airconditioned and well venilated.

We took in some entertainment at the squares and wondered around looking at different Villages. We discovered that we like the areas around Spanish Springs.

The people, both residents, visitors and employees were all extremely friendly and helpful. We enjoyed talking to many people and getting their views on the Villages. All were good, I must add.

Our last evening was spent meeting Dicky and Redwitch at the clock and having dinner with them. Very nice people, who gave us a lot of information, too.

I hope all of you who are coming on a Lifestyle visit enjoy it as much as we did. And, to those who don't have one planned, sign up. It's great!!!!!!!!!!

Jan

Forgot to mention the Trolley Tour. Definitely worth doing. And, don't miss Panera's (sp?)
Bread in Spanish Springs. Great coffee and delicious breakfast goodies.

I'm so glad you had a good time on your visit. I'm sorry you didn't get to meet more TOTVers but I think too much was going on this Tuesday. Have a safe trip home, a great trip to Poland, etc. when you go and look forward to seeing you and DH again in the near future.

OH Jan.

I just knew you would enjoy it. It is a good feeling to kind of "know" where you like best.(Around Spanish Springs) I changed my mind a dozen times, because each area has it's own compelling attractions. I am so sorry that we will pass like ships in the night. We are heading down on Friday. Not to worry. Our day will come! We will all be having a ball. We will invite you all over to our house and ply you with beer and wine and Johnny Marzetti and cherry pie. (Those are my most requested items)

I am so looking forward to it!

Hugs,

GracieGirl

Hi Jan....I just returned for my first Lifestyle Preview visit too (6/30 to 7/6) I loved it!! You seemed to be even luckier than I since you met residents for dinner with insightful info. All the free meals and golf were incredible and I asked many people who I met to tell me something bad about TV so I could get some balance of info -- guess what no one could think of anything bad and I have to say I can agree with them. So glad you also had a great time!

Angel
