Default Now that Fiorina is officially running:

let us wait and see how long it takes for the dirt dogs to dig up what ever.

They certainly won't sit still too long with the way she takes Clinton head on.

So refreshing to listen to a non politician like Fiorina and Carson.

A female going after Clinton and a black going after Obama......finally.

Get ready for the flurry of polls and other bounce back defense.

We all appreciate that some need to back their team. Sorta like going to the auditorium in high school for a footbal game pep rally....one has to back their team no matter what....right?

Republicans will not run a woman vs a woman. This would guarantee a female victor and the establishment Republicans would not go for that. Same way with Carson. The establishment Republicans will not go for that.

Besides neither are Presidential material.

Yes, you have to back your team no matter what.

You have a disgraced company CEO and a doctor entering into the race.

Both way out of their element. Carly has proved to everyone that she is a loser and Ben, while he is an excellent surgeon, is not presidential material. He might be an even worse choice than Sarah Palin proved to be for the GOP.

You are probably correct about Ben Carson not being presidential material. After all, he was never a Community Organizer.

I suppose Obama and Clinton are examples of those in their element. As the saying goes, all are entitled to their opinion......right or wrong!

Yes,
I would say someone engaged in state and federal politics since her '20's and rising to Sectretary of State and the other being engaged with h community politics, as well as being a law professor and being elected as a US Senator does make their credentials excellent.

Personal Best Regards

Exactly backwards, as usual. At least you're consistent

Carly Fiorina rose to be CEO of one of the largest companies in America and has essentially spent her entire career in the private sector. Since the President is essentially the CEO of America she is more qualified than anyone else running. I would expect accountability from her and everyone who works for her if she became president. If I had to guess, I would say you were probably a state or federal government employee and not really aware of how private companies work. The problem with government today is that there is no accountability. A president from the private sector might be able to instill some sanity into our government. While I am not entirely sold on her, at least she brings a management skill set to the discussion.

Calling people you have never met and have, without a doubt, accomplished more in their life than you ever will, a "loser" does nothing but reflect on you, and not in a good way. You might want to think about toning down your hate-filled rhetoric.

Can a CEO Who Laid Off Thousands, Botched a Merger, and Left With $21 Million Become President? | Mother Jones

In your accolades for Ms Fioriana, you fail to mention that as CEO of HP she laid off thousands, botched a merger, and left with 21 million after being fired. Her only accomplishment since that time seems to be her losing senate race to Senator Barbara Boxer in California by 10 percentage points.

I would say that looking at almost any major corporation over the last 20 years one could say with accuracy that they laid off thousands of people, botched a merger or aquisition and left with a lot more than $21 million.

Now go back and tally up the good that was done by those same CEO's.....by the way good equates to increasing share holder value and profitability of the company.

Also do not believe what one reads in the public record for answers to why a person ever leaves a corporate entity....it is NEVER EVER a reflection of what trull happened or why.

Laying off people is nothing new - happens all the time for a variety of reasons. You apparently worked in the public sector where layoffs never happen as the tax payer just takes it in the shorts. I have worked for IBM and have seen lots of people get laid off because the company moved out of some markets and into others. Unfortunate but it does happen in the real world. A lots of planned mergers never happen - they are often a risky proposition. Many C-level executives have employment contracts. Making all the right decisions in very complex business environments is very difficult. At least she has been there.

She lost to a democrat incumbent in a left-wing state by only 10 points - pretty good showing since 90% of incumbents are reelected.

You seem very naive and uninformed and apparently hate Carly Fiorina for no real reason. I assume you are a democrat. You see the world as black and white when it reality it is grey. I pity you.

You were ok, until you added your editorial at the end to elicit a response, of which you are sure of what you will get. It's a "pity" you couldn't respond without throwing an insult.
