Default Delta Zeta Sisters

Am up North and can't help until Jan 2016, but wondered if there are Sisters who might get behind this group to assist in "looping" The Villages?

From the not to be mentioned on-line news: villages - news dot com
"Audiologist out to bring loop system to the entire Villages
May 5, 2015 By Staff Report

"Dr. Danielle Rossiter (Au.D.), of HEAR USA, which is located just off Brownwood Paddock Square, spoke about the latest advances in hearing technology to an assembled group of hearing-impaired individuals and their caregivers Tuesday afternoon at the Churchill Street Recreation Center in The Villages.

"She is a board member of the Hearing Loss Association of America-Central Florida.

"The group meets the first Tuesday of each month (except June, July and August) in the Triple Crown room which is looped for better hearing. One of Rossiter’s goals is to loop the entire Villages, making all the public venues more user-friendly for deaf people. Looping is the placement of special wiring around rooms, theaters and recreational facilities which interact with specially equipped hearing aids to enhance the volume and content of sound.

"A native of Ocala, Rossiter is a summa cum laude graduate of the University of Florida.

"For information about this group or the Hearing Loss Association of America — Central Florida chapter — contact Jan Sharp at 352 751-4532 fjsharp@me.com; or Muriel Raine– 352 751 3464 murhlaacntrfl@aol.com."
