If a white person kills a cop, or say a white person kills a building full of people in Oklahoma city or a white person shoots up a school in New England or a school in Colorado or a church in Wisconsin, would our local racists also condemn the white race as a bunch of ignorant killers and demand the resignation of every white politician. I think that the OP was only trying to point out the hyprocrisy of the event and how the black community would have likely reacted had the roles been reversed.

Yes, I think that is correct.

The liberals still view speaking the obvious truth in this matter as a taboo however, and thus any such comments are condemned with the trusty race card being played or hate speech comment trotted out etc.

We are not in the Jim Crow times. This is the 21st century. I'm really disgusted at the narrow minds of so many of the conservatives. Definitely not all conservatives feel that way by any means but a fringe element is showing it's ugly head too often.
