Default Warning snowbirds...Don't forget to Turn auto-sprinkler ON

With several days in the 90's, there are many lawns that are looking VERY brown and crispy.
Water is cheaper than sod.

On the other side of the coin. I see water running down the drain. Big waste IMO. If you water for 30 mins. 20 mins run down the drain. Better IMO to water less time and use the time more during the week. I've adjusted my watering time so very little even runs or sprays the streets. Some water the street more than there yard.

Adjusting the sprinkler heads will keep the water out of the street. Adjusting the time will not.

I have Chip Parrish (352) 516-2281 come every spring to check my sprinkler system. Honest. Thorough. Hard working. Nice guy. $40 well spent.

Not sure the folks at Glenview CC read TOTV

[Added after the fact] I posted the above after driving past GV and seeing a course that looked almost dead. I later discovered that GV intentionally killed the grass on one of the nines which makes my attempt at humor a 'swing and a miss'
