Default An ISIS leader killed

Looks as though the US military has knocked off another senior ISIS leader in Syria. Good going! This was announced by the White House and reported on Fox. I am surprised that Fox did not denounce this as a campaign trick by Democrats.

Good for the special forces that carried out this operation and not one American casualty in hand-to-hand combat.

Why would they? Everyone knows that the Democrats had nothing to do with it.

The White House has to "green light" these missions. It is not carte blanche for Special Forces to go into a country and do a mission like this on their own volition.

Once again, good going!

Seriously. So, the Democrats are going to take credit for this one. That's a stretch even for Liberals.

By the way, thank you Captain Obvious for explaining the 'green light' concept.

That is typical of Liberals. The are always the first to take credit for any military success and always the first to denigrate the military at every opportunity. Go figure.

Go back and read his post. He said "Good Going" to the Special Forces. No one was denigrating the military at all. He was taking objection to the foolish statement some said about the Democrats having nothing to do with this.

The military did the intel to find the ISIS leader, relayed the info to the White House, got the green light from the White House, and successfully performed the mission. Good Going!

What is your problem with that?

We'll have to wait for all the details to be released to find out if this operation was authorized by President McCain or President Romney.

BTW: To get a chance to authorize these military operations, you must first win a presidential election.

hahahahahahohohohohohehehehehe

Just as I would have expected from a Liberal.

Ok, let's start over on this thread ...

The US intelligence community and military collaborated to take out some bonafide bad guys ... I love it.

Obama gets credit for giving the green light.

This should really not be political per se ... radical Islam will kill a liberal or conservative just as dead ... equal opportunity terrorism so we all support it when a bad guy is vaporized.

Does that sound reasonable to everyone??

Why don't you go back and read the OP's post. He/she injected politics into the original post not me.

As the poster correctly stated , the DEMOCRATS had nothing to do with the mission. The President, personally gave the 'green light' for the mission, NOT the DEMOCRATS. So, why should the Democrats (collectively, which was implied by the OP) be given credit?

Someone explain how something good can happen for this country and the first comment on here is almost 100% a political advertisement with a "shot" at Fox news ?

What is wrong with people ?

Some people just can't pass up an opportunity (contrived or otherwise) to take a shot at Fox News. It really says a lot about them doesn't it?

Isn't the point here that we removed one more ISIS leader from doing harm to innocents?

does a real leader say "I"was successful in eliminating............."or does a leader say we accomplished this objective?

It is sad the number of people who seem not to get pass the minutiae?

Personal Best Regards:
