This is what happens when America doesn't lead. Civilians being killed in the streets thousands fleeing U.S. lacks strategy. What are you going to do now Mr President?

Let's see. Ramadi is mostly Sunni, Islamic State is Sunni, and a useless Iraqi army was the the city's defense. And who is to blame? The blame goes farther back than Obama. We wasted trillions of dollars and paid a terrible price in lives and suffering by our troops. We invaded the wrong country.

Just listened to bush,s speech back in 07 when he warned pulling out too soon would be a huge mistake. How right he was. Isis taking over the country and Obama and Hillary responsible for all of this. We haven't had a president who is willing to take on the enemy in 7 years as we are losing the war on terror at frightening speed. Our children and grandchildren will be converting to Islam or God help them. They are achieving their goal of world wide jihad

Obama was quoted as saying this is a "bump in the road".
The military leaders are concerned.....as much as they can say and keep their jobs.
The WH spin team said we have to take into account the overall picture of which this town is a very small piece of the puzzle.

Hundreds of innocents slaughtered by a regime that went to power when Obama pulled the troops out too early....I wonder if the families of those murdered think it is a bump in the road.

The thousands who are fleeing for their lives.
Just think about you and your wife taking what you can carry and walking to Gainesville. And not knowing what or where you will be tonight. Tomorrow!

Bump in the road.........disgraceful and disgusting.

We (No make that Obama with Hillary's approval) pulled the troops out of the country too early and our men died in vain because of this. Guess it won't be long before we run and hide too. They are determined to multiply, kill us all and yes they are succeeding while we sit and watch

Dear Guest: You employ that common left wing ploy by changing the conversation. You employ backward analysis while what we need is forward thinking. the simple fact is that viet Nam and Iraq are examples where we have polticians running the war rather than generals.

Saddem was an evil person who murdered his own people and was in the process of developing WMD. In fact who knows if he didn't hide what he had perhaps in Syria. Syria by the way has loads of WMD's and currently using them against the Syrian people. Taking out Saddem was necessary and we were going strong until the Jane Fonda groupies start pushing politicians buttons

These theoretical questions of what you know now would you...........is a dodge from the left because people are focused on the dismissal/non existent foreign policy of the Obama Administration. Obama simply is not a clear thinking individual because his ideology gets in the way. He is immature inexperienced and his education and experience has been biased against America and favor the muslim world.

The left needs to reassess their position because they are mistaken about America and not assisting America in its fight against the evil empires and the viability of our democracy

Personal Best Regards:

I think that president Omama should listen to the consensus of the Americans and immediately send in a rapidly deployment force of around 10,000 troops and equipment to take care of the ISIS problem right away.

Get rid if those Moslem invaders once and for all before they make war here.

To remedy the threat would take leand resolve; neither of which this president has demonstrated to date.

Secondly it would be inconsistent with his agenda to not interfere with any radical Muslim activity.

All we can hope for is that ISIS and other radicals do not gain too much more ground and credibility until we get a new president, commited to the safety of Americans and eliminating the radical butchering and killing of innocents.

His bump in the road assignation of these killings is disgusting.

10,000 - 20,000 American boots on the ground would take care of these Moslems in short order. Like Santorum said, bomb them back to the 7th century.

President Obama hasn't fixed George Bush's historic and catastrophic screw up in Iraq, so put another Bush and the same advisors back in power.

OK, I'll agree to no more finger pointing of past mistakes. And looking forward how do you propose dealing with the Sunni vs. Shiite and Arab vs. Persia conflicts the Mideast has endured these past 1500 years? Please don't deflect as to how this is another liberal attempt to change the subject. Your answer is important.

I sort of doubt this will happen but I hold out hope. I am not sure the American people have the stomach for another fight. We appear to lack a coherent policy. We are adrift and this is being exploited. We need better leadership.

In combat situations, it is extremely likely that some American soldiers would be captured by ISIS forces. Itis most likely that any American soldiers captured would be beheaded, burned alive in a cage, or some other horrible death. This would be filmed and put on Internet sources for everyone to see.

IF that happened, what would the reaction of Americans be?
