Default What A Difference A Hair Cut Makes

This is NOT my dog, but I wanted to share. Peekaboo got adopted. Amazing how a good bath and haircut can change a little dog's looks. Glad Peekaboo's new mom could see that there was a beautiful little dog behind that hair. Peekaboo has a lot happier look on her face, too. She is now called Zoey.

Anyone looking to adopt in the future keep in mind that photos do not do the animals justice most of the time. I know I was not interested at all in the photo of the little dog we ended up adopting. We went to see who else they had available. I couldn't believe when I saw her that she was the same dog in the photo. She was so small and so beautiful. Photos can be deceiving. Glad we went because we would have passed up a wonderful, beautiful little dog just because of a unflattering photo.

Peekaboo (Zoey) came from South Lake Animal League (aka SLAL) at SLAL.org.
