This is pretty scary. Several Floridians have died from it. https://www.yahoo.com/health/florida...592164182.html

As much as I love raw oysters and clams I stopped eating them years ago. Better safe than sorry.

I had this happen to me back in the late 80's. We went to a seafood restaurant and I ordered the seafood pot. It included shrimp, lobster, mussels. The lobster was supposed to be steamed but I ate a few bites and noticed it wasn't cooked all the way through. Also the mussels were gritty. About a week later I started getting stomach cramps, diarreah and it lasted about 6 weeks. I lost 12 lbs and sick as a dog. It was determined later on that I had contracted Hepatitis A from eating dirty and uncooked seafood.
