Exclamation Curious TOTV

There appears to be a growing number of people on TOTV that do not live in or intend to live in The Villages (full time or part time), own property or intend to buy property in TV. Just curious why. Not saying you don't have the right, just curious.

Always been that way. Some because they do have a vested interest because of family here or because they rent here every year. Others because they really do want to live here but can't right now. Some because they join every blog they can find. Some moved out but want to stay in touch. Some, sadly, because they're trolls or trolls in the making. That is, if they have a chance to say something bad about TV, can hurt another's feelings or stir up the pot, they've made their day.

I've read posts here for over 2 years before I actually registered knowing that we'd be moving to TV someday. I've gathered a lot of useful information here long before I knew when we were finally making the move.

And some might just have an affinity to hang out in places that remind them of the Bar in Star Wars!!!

It never occurred to me that they're many out of towners on board. I see the location of some people but not others.

How does it work? Do you people identify where they live or does TOTV know from where the sending computer resides?

Boy, isn't that the truth. It's tough to keep up with just a few topics.

I think I've seen an Aqualish hanging around World of Beer

Come on down! After 20 or so houses in our lifetime, I can tell you with assurance there is no such thing as the perfect house.

More and more Retirees are going to renting. Although, I don't have "anything" to back that up as its just an observation. That said, there are still a lot of others who are wanting to retiree to TV full-time.

We have dear friends who have been snow birds in TV since 2004. I joined this site in 2013 looking for information about boarding my horses near TV if we decided to retire there. We came for 5 nights in July 2013... Checked out houses and stables. We even drew up a contract to build....but the timing was not right so we changed our minds. The timing is now right....so I have returned for information .....I have so many questions.....and this place has so many terrific folks who answer those questions on nearly every subject imagineable! So...in hopes that our home sells quickly....we will drive down...buy our home and begin our retirement!

There is no "not perfect" house in TV, IMHO. Sure, it could have this or that but at the end of the day, who cares. You wake up and go to bed in The Villages.

I usually glance up and look at the location to see where they reside. Some use that field, others don't. If it is not used, I can sometimes tell by prior posts from a poster.
