Has anyone ever heard of this company providing service in The Villages? Apparently the independent contractor service that I've been using to mow my lawn has been purchased by Ambest and I'm just wondering if anyone has an opinion, good or bad, about them. Thanks.

I imagine that this response is probably too late for you to make a decision, but for anyone considering AMBEST, I can tell you they are worthless. The independent that they bought was great, but since AMBEST took over, they have missed at least every other week, and probably would have missed more if we hadn't repeatedly called them. I will call and cancel this week. They have been a major headache.

I've had a similar experience. I also had no trouble with the independent they took over. They continue to blame the weather for running behind schedule so I'm giving them some more time, but not much more. Thanks.

Yes, that's what they keep saying to me, too. It's amazing that the houses all around me don't seem to be having any weather problems! I think the real problem is that most of their customers are not on the south end of The Villages, and there is no management that has a clue.
