Default Puppy obedience classes

I looked in the Villages paper but could not find any puppy training classes listed. Where might I find such a class for our puppy. We've always had adult rescue pets and Jaspar is our first puppy.

We used Petco and Chris Kindsler (Sp?) who teaches at the Lifelong Learning College. The class was held at Odell. The combination was good - Petco first and then Chris's class. We have a well behaved puppy dog.

I wanted private lessons for my puppy so I hired Bark Busters. For a set price, they come to your house and address problems specific to your dog. I like them because my puppy isn't distracted by other dogs. They might seem a little pricey ($325 month, $525 year, $675 lifetime) but I really like it. We did the year and he comes whenever we want (usually weekly or biweekly) and checks on progress, does some training and shows me what to do and then makes suggetions, sets goals for the next time and is also available by phone or will do videoconferencing if its late at night and you have an obedience emergency (I would imagine for aggressive or destructive dogs when a problem needs addressing right away). And he said if we decide after the year is over that we need help, we can always go to "lifetime" status and pay the difference. To me, a little more money is worth having specific needs addressed.

Do you know if they can do the same with golf balls?

I was at Petco today. There was a sign advertising puppy obedience classes. You might want to give them a call.
