Default Questions About Crowns, Veneers, etc.

I'm considering getting some work done on my teeth. I have small teeth that have been ground down over the years. I want to save the teeth I have but would like to do something that helps with appearances. I understand my options include crowns and veneers. There may be other options also.

I'm just looking for input from you folks who have knowledge and/or experience along these lines. I know the costs are going to be significant. I'd like to get good quality of course, but at the same time I need to keep the costs as reasonable as possible.

Your advice please.

I also have very soft small teeth. My whole family was cursed with this. Teeth break easily and are small. When my daughters wedding day approached 10 years ago I had all my upper teeth crowned. The result was no less than stunning. I left the bottom ones alone because you don't see them when I smile. Now I have two broken teeth on the bottom so I am fighting with myself on whether to nave them crowned or not. Ten years ago I paid $8000 to have all my upper teeth crowned but now it would be that much to have just the bottom front teeth done and being retired it isn't as easy as it was to pay for that with other medical items taking precedent. You can't see the broken teeth when I smile so it isn't a priority. Good luck with it and bring your wallet.

I have had veneers for over 25 years, because of soft, discolored teeth. I have been very rough on them, chewing on lobster shells, candies etc. Other than a couple of hairline cracks that you cannot see, they are just like new. I have never regretted it. I would get them again.

Can anybody recommend a dentist for this sort of work (likely veneers)?
