Default Auto A/C Repair recommendations

One of our vehicles (09 Civic) started blowing hot instead of cool today. Does anyone have an automotive A/C repair shop with whom they have done business recently that they would recommend? Thanks in advance!

I just arrived in May, and had the same question. A number of people recommended Tri-County Automotive on 27 across from the Villages Hospital, a little north of the cart bridge.
They got me in quickly and did a great job at a reasonable price.
Good luck.

Default Reynolds Air

Solid recommendation for Reynolds Air, 1326 N. 14th St. in Leesburg, 787-7285. Been going there with two old cars, a 92 and a 2003, for the last five years. Never had a bill that even reached $50. The compressor in my 92 has been making real funny noises for two years. The first time I had Randy Nugent check it out he said the bearings are going but sometimes it takes up to five years so you might as well wait so long as it cools. Bill for that inspection, zero. Called him five months ago after the compressor stopped working and told him to order the replacement for a job I knew was going to run about $700. He said to stop in first. Turns out the system lost most of its coolant. Replaced coolant, injected dye to find a potential leak ran system on testers for four hours to find the leak. No leak apparent. Advised to run until it dies and bring it back if there's any problems. Bill, $23.

Randy Nugent only does automobile air-conditioning. He has a sign that says by appointment only. I don't know if that's a serious sign but I do note has no hours posted. Be prepared for a little culture shock if you elect to go. The decor leaves a bit to be desired. I'd say Tri-County automotive is somewhat below average good old boy decor. Reynolds air is a bit below that. But you'll get an honest assessment from an honest guy.
