Default An American First In Cuba

The Gay Men's Chorus from Washington DC just returned from a week long concert tour of Cuba. They gave 21 performances in one week. They said it was exhausting but a wonderful experience. They were unsure of what kind of reception they would receive but were overjoyed to see the Pride Flag on a flagpole at their hotel.

They have performed in other countries but this was a first for Cuba. They ended each performance with the song, "Lift Your Voices".

If it had been The Villages Men's (or Women's) Chorus, do you think that the press would have expressed the same level of interest?

Probably not. The press prefers to push the unusual
