Default Who to support?

I'm a hard core conservative on fiscal issues but middle of the road on social issues. I was leaning towards Christie until I heard him take the no new taxes pledge. I find that ignorant with a 19 trillion dollars deficiet and an imaginary S.S. trust fund that is taking in less than it is paying out. Today Rubio says he would shut down newly opened Cuban embassy if he is elected. If I was forced to vote today it would be for Bernie as he is the only honest person I've heard to date regardless that he is out in left field. I think he cares about the country. My party is concerned with getting elected only. As a conservative, that, I think is sad as hell.

Methinks you are a troll.

No way, a conservative in ANYTHING votes for Mr Sanders.

And you got your parties mixed up. As Clinton burns, the Dems are looking for anyone to run. Nice slate of GOPers however......lots of choice on issues, etc.

But based on what you are saying in your post, you are just joshing.

A vote for Bernie Sanders would be akin to cutting off your nose to spite your face.

Let me get this straight. You are concerned about a 19 trillion dollar debt but, would vote for a socialist who is great at spending other people's money until it runs out.

You mentioned the debt therefore I assume you are concerned about it. You also indicated that you are a "hard core conservative on fiscal issues". If this is the case, then you can't seriously consider voting for a democrat. They really don't believe there are any consequences to an increasing debt and are content increasing the size of the federal government.

You can call me a troll but I'm a grandfather who can't believe what so called conservatives are willing to do to future generations. I also believe we should be paying our own way. If that is being a troll, I'm guilty.

It sounds like you are looking for somebody who will "Make America Great Again". Donald Trump is your guy. He will balance the budget, make the military great again, replace Obamacare with fantasticare, go after China and Japan, cherishes women, will build a wall that nobody will get over or under, and many, many other promises.

Trump is also pretty liberal on social issues, at one time supporting single-payer healthcare for all and a woman's right to choose.

Time to get on the bandwagon. Trump is already naming his cabinet.

Don't count out Ben Carson. He will accomplish all of the above and may be more electable. Carson, Fiorina, and Trump are all on my "go" list, and best of all they are non-politicians. Now if we can aggressively replace Congress with non-politicians we may be able to overcome our biggest problem ~~~ being "politically incorrect".

They may sound like what you want to hear but Farina, Carson, and Trump would all get eaten up in Washington and spit out like a seed.

Carson has absolutely no corporate experience. Farina drove HP into the ground. Trump is a buffoon who will go third party and guarantee a win for the Democrats.

Jeb Bush is sliding downhill. Walker is anti-woman. Heck, the Democrats win with anybody they run!

Fetal Tissue Research Critic Ben Carson Conducted Fetal Tissue Research

Would have agreed with you about Ben Carson until this report came out stating that he took part in fetal tissue research all while he was condemning the practice. Also, he is getting about one tenth the attention that Donald Trump is and doubt that he has a billion dollars to spend on his campaign, like the Donald has.

how are you for people paying their own way and Bernie Sanders even remotely the same? He's a "socialist" for Gods sake...look it up...his ideas have nothing to do with "paying your own way"...

Then you are "guilty" as charged. Try using Google to look up the definition of "conservative." If you are truly a grandfather (doubtful) and really concerned for the future, then you wouldn't be advocating FLY TODAY, Pay Tomorrow. No true conservative is that naive.

Do I smell a desperate troll?

What I said was Bernie Saunders was the most honest person running, yes he is in left field but before you can move ahead you need an honest person at the top. I just haven't seen that from my party. If I had to pick an honest candidate today it would be still him. Yes I understand he is a socialist. He would raise taxes but he is upfront and challenging the status quo. This is needed to have an honest dialog about this countries future.
