The national weather service shows ERICA moving right up the center of the Florida Peninsula. Arriving at TV at 2:00 AM Tuesday. My guess is that we're gonna get wet.

We are going to get wet.

And for the more than 50% of the residents who have not been here prior to or during one of these events......get ready for the run on gasoline, water and batteries.

Happened every time one is forecast to come near TV.

That forecast is good news because storms very rarely hit where they predict.

hopefully only rain, which we need. Hurricane Erika can bring strong winds and possible tornadoes to the central part of the state. Probably not hurricane force winds, though. There's always the possibility of losing power, as in any strong storm.\

Hope all stay safe. I am watching the path from the Northeast. We have survived our share, most recently Irene and Sandy. Hope our new Villages home is okay.
