Default They finally got it right on FL and MI

Associated Press is reporting that: "Democratic delegates from Michigan and Florida were awarded full voting rights at the national convention Sunday, despite holding early primaries against party rules. The convention credentials committee voted unanimously to restore the voting privileges at the behest of Barack Obama, the party's presumptive nominee for president."

I commend the convention credentials committee for doing the right thing, and the presumtive candidate for finally acknowledging what should have occurred a long time ago.

Let's hope such a dumb mistake is never repeated by any party, and that all political parties have learned that the states, not the parties, determine when taxpayer-funded elections are to occur.

Default I Agree...And I Migt Have More Reason Than Most

While I am a registered voter in Florida, I also own a home in Michigan, where I spend a couple of months a year. I wasn't going to have much of a say in anything!

Now that Jeb Bush and Katherine Harris are gone, the Florida votes may actually be tallied.

Do you think that decision will anger Hillary supporters?

As a "Hillary supporter" I do think that some will be miffed over it all, however, it's now "water over the dam" and I sure do hope that this controversy has no further bearing on the party. We do end up with a good team with Biden for VP.
