Default Horrible accident....

....on SR44 in front of Wendy's; motorcycle and a Surburban. We drove thru going to Lake Panasoffkee and the body of the motorcyclist was covered up. It was still laying there a little over an hour and a half later when we came back thru. Horrible.

I am so sad to hear this. It puts all other foolishness that raise our blood pressure into perspective.

I drove past it, just after noon. The police were routing traffic around the scene. It was a very chilling scene.

That's the second m/c vehicle wreck I've seen at that same place. 1st was minor, today, just horrific.

For me it's a case of having to many "horrible" things happening close to home without worrying about folks I just don't know...sure it's sad...someone's going through a horrible loss...blah, blah, blah...yes some will say I lack heart and empathy...actually I have to much and think posting this on line takes away from living life to the fullest...and no I don't have to be reminded how short life is...those that do need to be reminded rarely stay so for very long...when someone dies on Mt. Everest it's to bad, but their choice to take the chance knowing the odds are greater than staying home...when those die on a motorcycle it's also just as sad, but they made a choice that said it's fun to ride with the wind in your hair knowing that if someone else made a mistake in their vehicle they'd likely end up getting the worst of it...

Folks pass on each and every day by the millions...some of old age...some of rare disease...some because of the ignorance of others...it's the hazard of being alive...so notice the accident, feel for those who lose but for goodness sake stop trying to draw us into your morbid sadness...

Thoughts and prayers for a completely unknown family? How do you do that?

An even worse accident on I-75 near Leessburg exit this AM with 3 fatals including an infant. Is there a mileage limit from the Villages for "thoughts and prayers" for the unknown or does a poster have to see the accident or aftermath to qualify.

Just wondering.

Fred53 hit the nail on the head.
