Fiorina moves up to 2nd place and Carson down to 3rd. Trump dropped about 6 points.

And if she passes him, she deserves the lead. She does it without a ton of rhetoric. She sounds logical and concise when she speaks. A Fiorina/Rubio team would be impossible to beat in the general election. It would be a walkaway. Not saying that I have made my decision yet, for my pick. Just observing and analyzing. Trump doesn't have to win the nomination to win for the Republicans. His words are power enough to motivate the Republican and Independent voters. We have a good group of contenders this cycle and as they are culled, we will see the best (or richest) rise to the top. And while this is happening, the Dems have Clinton, falling rapidly and will likely tank out, and Sanders the socialist that no majority will vote for. He may have a large fringe liberal group that are desperate to maintain power in D.C. that will vote for him, but no where near enough to win the general. Unless the GOP does something unforgivable, they will walk away with the election easily and probably historically this time. Unless something miraculously happens for the Dems, like a new candidate.....too late, or the Republicans do something real stupid.

Fiorina is looking better all the time. Even Rubio is maintaining a decent position. Trump will probably tank, and Carson will run out of steam and start dropping back a bit. He's a good man, so many want to support him but want someone politically or management savvy.

I think in the final stretch, it will be Fiorina and Rubio competing. Unless something happens and one of them stumbles. Rubio is pretty stable and strong, so if anyone is going to stumble it will most likely be Fiorina.

I am leaning toward a Fiorina/Rubio ticket at this time also, but willing to keep an open mind as the election season progresses.

Interesting, how the top 3 are all non-politicians, while the political types continue to lag behind and struggle to get into or retain one of those top 3 positions. In the meantime, the Democratic candidates seem lackluster at best. Hopefully suggestive of where the interest of the general public currently lies.

Very well said. I really like Rubio. He's a bit socially conservative for me but he's definitely at the top of my list right now. She's been (at least for me) a fresh surprise. I love the intellect on this side of the ticket.

I think the left's best chance is if Biden decides to run. Aside from his goofy gaffes he is a moderate candidate that will bring in a lot of women and a lot of independent voters…..IMHO.

I think you are right about Biden. As it is right now, I doubt Clinton will get a large female turnout or the black turnout. She has already lost the majority of the Independent voters. I think you can pretty much write off Clinton winning. Biden is the Dems only hope right now, and even though the conservatives want a Republican winner, but if a Dem has to win, they would rather it be Biden. Biden is a Statesman and can get along with both sides.
