Saturday, my alma mater beat Bama. Hotty Toddy.

Yesterday, my wife bought some short ribs at Publix. As I was about to open the package I noticed that the label said "boneless". I also noticed that each one was actually about 1/4 bone and 3/4 meat. This is exactly what I wanted, but I wasn't going to pay the boneless price for them so I took them back. The young lady at customer service gave me a full refund and as I was about to go back to the meat department, told me to keep the meat as they were just going to toss it anyway.

Today, my car battery went dead and I had to get AAA to come jump start me. They tested the battery and told me I had a dead cell. I had bought the battery in May 2013 at AutoZone, so I figured I would get a pro-rated discount on a new one. Wrong. They gave me a free new battery and installed it for me.

Headed to buy lottery tickets.

That's funny. Actually many of the Publixes in the Villages probably would do that. They do go out of their way to help their customers which is great public relations and keeps their customers coming back.

I have been having a lot of bad luck of late. Hopefully that will turn. The Saints have not been smiling on me.
