Default Pope continues to step out of line of his position

He may be the pope but he is not qualified to tell other governing bodies how to run their businesses. Hoe it affects the religious and moral aspects yes. But to come out ans take sides i.e. consrvatives vs democrats is totally and completely wrong.

The media pumping up how this pope aligns with the Obama agenda is a contrived plan attempting to validate Obama's agenda.

Shame on the pope for not sticking to his business and electing to play the political game. He has dropped several notches in my opinion of the man not the position of pope:

Francis takes Congress to task on immigration, abortion, gay marriage and the Syrian refugee crisis as he insists on 'Golden Rule' approach to politics in first-ever Capitol Hill address by a sitting pontiff | Daily Mail Online

Acting like just another politician!!

He has desended from his position on high into the gutter of politics. And to make it even worse he has chosen to present himself as a liberal. And even double worse yet (if possible) to allow himself to be quoted by the Obama spin machine as having a similar agenda.

He could have easily stayed on the high ground and talked about each of the issues from a spiritual religious, all for mankind perspective.

Bad move pope. You lost me as a supporter and many others I suspect.

He should have been smart enough to leave the politics to the lawyers, the liars, the untrustworthy, unethical folks.

Your post is probably one of the best examples I've seen on this forum of what is wrong with this once great country. What a sad commentary on what we've become.

Just watched the same 177 democratic representatives that voted against defunding Planned Parenthood give the Pope a standing ovation for stating life should be protected at all stages of development. I believe the term for this among Vietnam era draftees was "Regular Army Pukes"

At times, like it or not, the minority report is hereby acknowledged.

if anyone is interested on what the Pope is REALLY saying, not snippets from the media designed to make him appear to support Obama's agenda, there is excellent coverage on EWTN channel 243 on comcast. did you know he visited the Little Sisters of the Poor who are embroiled in suing the Obama adminitration over the ACA mandates? of course not, the liberal media would never show that. now he is about to help feed the homeless (most of whom are mentally ill) and join them for lunch. Caring for our environment is a far cry from selling carbon credits and something we all can agree on. He has praised business as a creator of wealth and a help for the common good in creating jobs.... Maybe reading an encyclical or two would show you his real positions.

Just a week ago these same people were in an uproar because a few gays would be sprinkled among 15,000 people invited to the White Lawn to hear the Pope speak.

Now when he speaks they turn on him!!!!

Right Wing numnuts

Some of us make commentary based on our individual belief or opinions. We have the opportunity to say good or bad, up or down, yes or no, like or dislike, etc based upon those beliefs or opinions.

Then there are those who can only address what or who they view as the opposition. There is never a dialogue, just bashing and name calling of anything that is not in line with their belief or opinion. So in essence they never ever get to express their true self. There is no time or not allowed. They must march to the beat of the drum, speaking what is directed to be spoken. Living on a one way street. Hallucinating is a common side effect.

Jesus would be proud of the popes message. Perhaps if he called punishment for the poor would go over bigger in the villages.

Totally uncalled for.
And Jesus never injected himself into the politics of Rome

Just when we think some have presented the most bizarre, stupid, off the wall, no sense at all commentary along come one that proves it can get a lot worse.

Congratulations for the most insulting, makes no sense gutter shot.
