Just got back after seeing Paul Revere's Raiders at the Savannah Center.
What a show! It was great and a real shame there was not a bigger audience.
Fabulous band and terrific and funny entertainers. Paul Revere died last year but his son is in the band and several of the members have been with the band for over 40 years. Put on your list to see them if they come back next year.

I thought the show was ok for $20. I only knew the last couple of songs they did. What I did think was good was his impressions of other singers now that would have made a fantastic show. The worst part were those Balcony seats. Those things are still terrible. About 20 minutes into the show I moved to the back row of the floor seats what a difference. Oh I asked if it was ok they said sit anywhere I wanted to. All the seats floor and balcony were the same price. The place was almost half empty. And when I looked online the second show looked about the same as far as open seats.

Saw them many years ago. Fun show, but no Mark Lindsay kept the crowd down.

My husband and I went to the early show and we really enjoyed it. The singer had a great voice and the band was great!! They played other songs from the 60s too, which we enjoyed. We had great seats in the balcony. Very entertaining!!!

I was at the early show - really enjoyed it. I really didn't feel that it was poorly attended.

Lindsay left the band 40 years ago. He was the lead singer for their hits. Still enjoyed seeing the Raiders at an outdoor venue in 1988. Just not the same without him. Sorry to hear about Paul Revere's passing.

If you're under 55 then I can understand you might not know all their hits. I'm 65 and every afternoon when I got home from school I would watch 'Where the Action is'. It was a music show put on by Dick Clark and Paul Revere & the Raiders were the host. It was on TV a couple of years when I was in high school and the band were at their peak. So all their hits got played on their show, just like MTV did 20 years later for other bands.

I would of went, but didn't know they was playing. Seen them live circa 1966 in the Saint Joseph Auditorium.

I'm sure they'll be back. They seemed to enjoy The Villages as much as we enjoyed them. I'm 64 and did recognize most of the songs and they did some Zeppelin, Steppenwolf and others from that rockin' time. Lead singer did some awesome imitations of Sammy Davis Jr, Tom Jones and others. Great show for $19.
