Default SS & LSL webcam zoom information

I thought I'd start another thread instead of burying this.

You now have options in both Firefox and Internet Explorer (IE) browsers to zoom the page very effectively.

For IE you need to have version 7 or above. For Firefox you'll need version 3 or above.

To upgrade either just choose the update option from the main navigation at top (For IE it is under TOOLS/Windows Update In Firefox it is under HELP/Check for updates. Get the latest versions installed and then:

For Firefox you can click Ctrl and + together to get the zoom in. You can use the same keys in IE as well or also: For IE the zoom percentage is in the very lower left hand corner with a + sign next to the number of percent (default is 100%)

Ctrl and - will zoom back out.

Both work very well for the webcam pages. It also works on every page to increase the size of the font if you have any eye issues.

Russ

Oh no. My LSL webcam just stopped working. I can only get Spanish Springs.

Sorry about this post, I can't see how to delete a post, so I'm editing instead. I now have LSL back again.

Default Thank you!

Russ-Boston: You were so right! The little magnifying glass was there all along - I just didn't realize it! Thanks so much for the info!

It's 2:40 pm and people have been standing at LSL for ages. I can't imagine being out in that heat for that long! I hope they're giving out cold water!

Russ, I'm still fighting with my computer. I went to Tools/Windows Update in IE per your instructions. It asked me if I wanted to install updates so I thought that would be a good thing and said yes.

Now when I log on to TOTV I can't read the whole message without using the arrows to scroll back and forth. And adjusting "text size" doesn't fix the problem. How can I get the screen to fit the format again?

Thanks.
