Default Carson the story teller lies

Sounds more like a democrat. They lie to get what they want all the time.

Big difference. A lying liberal (Hilary) can lie and it's OK. A Republican caught lying is a big sin because Republicans are held at a higher standard. They have ethics and morals. Liberals are not held at that level. Liberals are more on the level of Affirmative Action, and should be excused if they do not qualify.

You can close this thread now. The story has been walked back by Politico or where ever it originated. Liberals sure got their blood up for what appears to be nothing.

What the media forgot to include was he was doing a stand up impression of two noteable political liars...Obama and Clinton.

The media and supporters presented it as Carson tells lies.

It is so hilarious to listen to Obama and Clinton supporters looking down on somebody (anybody) who may not be telling the truth. I can't even type it without

I was just on the Politico web site, perhaps you could direct me to where it says " the story has been walked back."

Let us begin by quoting a piece from the Washington Post...

"Let’s hope that the site’s advertisers asked for a discount after learning that Politico readers aren’t that smart, after all.

Such unwillingness to admit fault plagues Politico’s big story of the day, which premiered just before noon and alleged that Republican presidential candidate had admitted to fabricating a scholarship offer from West Point. As all of Twitter — not to mention the Carson campaign — has pointed out, Carson admitted no such thing. At issue was a passage in Carson’s 1990 autobiography “Gifted Hands,” in which he described being “offered a full scholarship to West Point.” He never applied to West Point, however, and Politico reported that he had.

Faced with these factual challenges, Politico has changed its story. Whereas the headline once read:

Ben Carson admits fabricating West Point scholarship

It now reads:

Exclusive: Carson claimed West Point ‘scholarship’ but never applied

And whereas the original lede once read:

Ben Carson’s campaign on Friday admitted, in a response to an inquiry from POLITICO, that a central point in his inspirational personal story was fabricated: his application and acceptance into the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.

It now reads:

Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson on Friday conceded that he never applied nor was granted admission to West Point and attempted to recast his previous claims of a full scholarship to the military academy — despite numerous public and written statements to the contrary over the last few decades."

You can find other mentions of the walk back but of course, not except this from the MSM.

Typical liberal has no humility when it comes to expecting everyone to do everything for him. Wow slick, you know how to troll, so surely you know how to do a simple thing like a google search. How hard is it to check liberal stories out before humiliating yourself? If you are the best that your side has to offer, then don't blame us for supporting the other side.

Yep, it's the liberal media. Say it enough times and you'll start to believe it.

Unlike the liberal drones, I can comfortably read all types of media without compromising my conservative standards. How about you? Do you need your liberal momma to read to you? You obviously lack the ability to discern right from wrong, moral from amoral, and FREE from Earned.

Obviously, your retention level is a bit lacking. No offense meant. If you really did read the article, you would see that they went back and changed it about three times. I call that walking it back. Sorry, if that is hard for you to understand. We can spoon feed a liberal, but we can't make them eat.
