This is an introductory post... I just signed up today.

I have been a Villager since 2005 and moved here while I was BELOW the normal age average.

I am a UFAS registered Master Gardener with 8 years experience. I have worked as a Horticulture Agent at a regional landscaping firm as an advising consultant as well as working part time at a local hardware store for the past 9 years. I specialize in Turf and Insect Control.

The above information will undoubtedly give a large number of Villagers the clues as to my identity... Villagers had sought me out at the Hardware store [from which I have retired] by W.O.M. by other Villagers [and Master Gardeners at the Plant Clinics] solely based on the results residents have achieved On Their Own using some basic guidelines that I provided.

I plan on selling a few items on this website, but I will also answer some gardening questions.

Some of my articles are published on occasion in The Daily Sun in the Lawn and Garden section on Saturday.

Welcome. Any info you can pass on regarding turf and insect control to someone from the Midwest would be appreciated. I can grow Bermuda and Fescue with the best of them; this zoysia here is another thing. And I've seen bugs here I never have before!
