I've never heard of Jim's Golf. Thanks for the recommendation, I need new clubs.
I googled it and it says Rolling Acres Plaza but some information on google is out of date.
Have they moved to Spanish Springs?

Rolling Acres Plaza, 676 US-441, The Villages, FL 32159, United States

I'd be more than happy to "fit" you with some "clubs". Myself, my putting was so bad I went to the (lobster) claw grip, but my hands keep slipping due to the drawn butter I considered the "baseball" grip, but I already won that

No. Right next to Moe's grill in that plaza.

You're not good at paying bets and admitting you lost,
but your sense of humor is impeccable!

I've been using the Claw rather successfully for about 7 years. Don't you know you have to wipe the butter off your hands before you putt.

Great fitting at the Sarasota golf shop. It cost $75 and you get $37.50 towards the purchase of a club. They are rated in the top 10 by Golf Magazine

Steve Wresh out of Continental Country Club. Works with you right out on the range so you see where the ball is going. Not a machine or astro turf. Very direct and to the point, no "oh that's a nice shot"

I bought three clubs (5, 7, and 9 irons) from Golfworks, a company located in Newark, Ohio. I got basic clubs - forged clubheads, cavity back, no offset, and graphite shafts. They assembled the clubs for me, for a total cost about $180. I played with them, liked them, and then bought the 4, 6, 8, pw, and gap wedge from them.

I have played a lot of golf in my life and I have always used very standard clubs, so I figured standard clubs would work for me. I wanted to try their forged clubheads and regular flex graphite shafts, and $180 was not much to spend on this experiment.

However, BUYING METALWOODS IS A DIFFERENT STORY!!

I have a nice Ping driver so I bought a matching Ping 3-metalwood for $130 and I absolutely HATE it. I had a similar thing happen when I bought a Ping hybrid, so I threw that sucker into a lake. I now swear I will never buy a metalwood or hybric without trying at a range.
