I've been treated by Dr. Payman of Spine Intervention Specialists.....in my opinion he is the best around....his credentials are impeccable and his ability to find the source of the problem and treat it is truly a gift....also you can look him up on health grades....he has 5 star feedback...hope this helps

Dr. Payman administered 2 injections in my sacroilliac which did not help. Then he gave me an epidural between L5 & L6. That may have helped as I am not suffering with the extreme biting pain (like a dog) in my buttocks and right ankle. But I do daily exercises to strengthen my back. However shortly after the epidural, I had almost constant pain in middle of my back and can only stand & walk for short periods of time. I carry a heating pad with me when I go to a club to play cards and use it a lot at home. I keep waiting for that constant pain to disappear. I cannot say whether or not Dr. P helped me but I never had constant aching back before. Good luck with your problem
