This issue concerns and puzzles me, but surely I do not think of it as a laugh for any day.

I hear what Pelosi is saying She is backing and trusting the President. Then on the same day, Sen Feinstein, another loyal democrat and ranking Democrat on the Senate Intelligence Committee is criticizing the President and saying

"“I don’t see the strategy working. I believe they’d have an expanding capability,” Feinstein said."

Then add this to the mix...

"BAGHDAD (AP) -- The Islamic State group is aggressively pursuing development of chemical weapons, setting up a branch dedicated to research and experiments with the help of scientists from Iraq, Syria and elsewhere in the region, according to Iraqi and U.S. intelligence officials.

Their quest raises an alarming scenario for the West, given the determination to strike major cities that the group showed with its bloody attack last week in Paris. U.S. intelligence officials don't believe IS has the capability to develop sophisticated weapons like nerve gas that are most suited for a terrorist attack on a civilian target. So far the group has used mustard gas on the battlefield in Iraq and Syria."

I have no intention of living in fear, but this gives me great pause.

I just hope this is not one big political football, and wonder about a number of things like who is in the coalition and what do they do ?; why do we have such restrictions on our military ?; we have refused to arm the right people in the area and spent a ton of money to train, what...5 men ?

Now today, if you listened to Hillary Clinton, she basically just repeated what the President says in a different way.

The Republican leader simply says he will bomb them...not anywhere near a strategy.

We should have done something 3 years ago when we had the chance.

BUT I join all Americans in total confusion as to what is the plan and how do we measure it ?
