Default The village Eye Institute

Does anyone have any feed back about the Village eye institute and Dr. Raja Goli? I have eye pressure and need a good ophthalmologist. They accept Freedom insurance and l might change to that
Thank you

I highly recommend Dr. ElMallah at Ocala Eye, they have offices in Laurel Manor. He is managing my high pressure and if I had some one like him some years back, I would still have sight in right eye.

I have Dr. ElMallah at Ocala Eye. Was told he is a specialist with eyes that have high pressure. I had him do my cataracts and I can't even explain how professional he was with me. Had a great outcome!!!

I can only suggest you make sure BEFORE you have eye surgery (lasik) make sure you don't already suffer from dry eye. I had Lasik in 2005 and still suffer to this very day from extreme discomfort and daily eye drops to moisturize my eyes. My eyes are soooo dry they are painful and itch 24/7. I have tried several eye specialists, prescription eye drops, special goggles; I have exhausted everything any doctor has recommended. The bottom line is make sure you are not predisposed to dry eye in the first place. I do get some relief from daily fish oil pills, which moisturize my eyes from the inside... I am the 1 in a million who would never recommend Lasik. It does happen that you could be worse off than you are now! Eye sight and all...

I'm so sorry Frau that you have this issue!!!! I've not had Lasik but I do suffer from dry eye and it isn't a fun thing to have!! Also...if you have cataracts ask your doctor if your cornea etc are normal because if they are not, if you get the up-graded lens' you'll have issues as well.
