This is a valid warning notice to all of you whom may be told you have a retina tear OR that you need to have laser eye surgery for some reason.....RUN...for another opinion before you have any surgery (especially if you have good insurance).......!!!

I am considering eye surgery. Your short remark suggests there is probably a larger reason for making it. Anything constructive to add, since it's only common sense to get second opinions on surgery? Were you wronged in some way?
