When someone visits who has a pull/drive camper, what are the rules and where are they allowed to park?

Technically, 72 hours on the street or in your driveway. Not sure if still the case, but you used to be able to get a pass from a rec center to park in the parking lot. If no one complains, your driveway is the best option.

Red, I believe you are correct, but the RV's cannot be occupied during the 72 hour period.

Another alternative is the Walmart parking lot on 466, possibly 441. You' have to get approval from the manager. If they are going to stay with their camper, then Recreation Plantation on Route 466 is great, assuming it's close enough to your house. The above posters are correct.

I did a spot check on restrictions in several sections. Under section 2.8 ( or 2.7 in one case) in all of the ones I checked, there was no reference to 72 hours. In fact, in all the ones I checked, they all stated "no trucks over 3/4 ton size, boats, or recreational vehicles shall be parked, stored, or otherwise remain on any lot or street ..."

That seems to indicate 'not at all'. Again, enforcement is complaint-based, so I'd make friends with all your neighbors.

My 30 foot motorhome fits in my driveway when it's not in the villages storage lot. The driveway is 30 feet long so it just makes it. My visitors stay in one of the nearby parks so they can plugin.

I received a copy of Covenants & Restrictions at closing last Feb. This does not say it's for specific areas. # 9 says Trucks, Trailers, Recreational Vehicles, Campers & Boats. All such vehicles require a clearance from your Neighborhood Watch representative to park in The Villages. A clearance is issued for a maximum of 72 hours. Vehicles that fit in a garage are exempt.

In addition to the VCDD Deed Compliance - Sumter County there is the External Deed Restriction Standards, these restrictions exist for each district, they specifically mention the rules for parking RVs, trucks.
