Default Children Shot

Since the time that Adam Lanza killed 20 children and staff at Sandy Hook in 2012, at least 554 children under the age of 12 have been killed by guns - either intentionally or by accident.

Instead of common sense, we have Villagers saying they will start carrying their guns everywhere they go.

Oh please not another the gun did it story!!

By the way when you have the time how about explaining how the children where ever the unfortunate souls happened to be have anything to do with who carries or not in TV.

Sometimes common sense requires putting down the big braod paint brush that some run across everything. Usually when they do not have the specifics to make or substantiate a case.

So, what's your point? Are you suggesting that anyone that carries a gun is going to kill children? Or how about this, LESS children will get killed if there is someone nearby to protect them with their concealed carry weapons? Your idea of common sense if definitely NOT normal. If you don't believe in guns, then don't buy one. I would hate for you to have one that "accidentally or intentionally" kills a child.

100,000,000 of the firearms owners in the U.S. killed no one yesterday.

If conservatives don't believe in guns, they don't buy them.
If liberals don't believe in guns, they want to ban them from everyone else.

How many children were killed by knife? You know, abortion? Come back and talk to me when you can save those children from doctor's knives. And those weren't accidental.

And that depends on your definition of a baby. To me, it isn't a baby unless it is viable outside of the womb. The female body aborts fetuses frequently.

And not all liberals want to ban all guns. I'd love to see semi-automatics banned since they are too easily converted to full automatics. This is one liberal who will keep her Glock but out of sight and out of reach of my grandson.

Semi automatics ARE NOT EASILY CONVERTED TO AUTOMATICS is not a true statement!!!!!!!
Complete incorrect understanding of the workings of the weapon and then tout it to others as if correct.

Perfect example of the biggest problem I have with those who would advocate doing something different with or about guns.......most do not know what they are talking about!

Hate to burst your bubble but your Glock is one of those "semi-automatics that you would have to ban. I'm real glad that you will use common sense to keep the gun out of reach of children, considering the usual lack of common sense that most liberals seem to enjoy in their ignorance.

My grandson just killed his first deer this year, and it was a ten point buck. He is only 11 years old. They visited me on Thanksgiving and brought me some venison jerky. Funny how some folks are responsible enough to teach gun safety to their children and others don't know the difference between a hunting rifle and an assault weapon.

I won't debate abortion with you, as we have differences in opinion and different science teachers. I believe the point was making a correlation between the knives and doctors and guns and murders/accidents.

Once upon a time before re-defining everything to make it fit the agenda a pregnant woman was/is still to most of us carrying an unborn child.

That is a child that is not born yet.

That is a child.

To try to differentiate that it one thing "inside" and something else "outside" is just pure rationalizing to accomodate an agenda.

All that is being discussed is for those who do not want the child, where to kill it! And calling it something other than killing another being is just senseless, inconsiderate politics to suit an agenda.

Like Robert Dear did in Colorado Springs at the Planned Parenthood clinic? He called himself "the warrior for the babies". His killings were not accidental, either. It sounds as though you support him and his methods of "saving children from doctor's knives"?

100,000 children alone gassed and gunned down in the streets in Syria and nobody on here had ANY sympathy or understanding.

How many of those killed were killed by UNLAWFUL guns in a place like Detroit ? No political gain to be had there so we ignore those childrens deaths.

You cant pick and choose what children to mourn.

Those kids in Syria would have been alive if we had done something, anything, but we ignored it and to those on this forum...at least 3 to 4 threads just on the children being killed over the past years with none of your sympathy or concern.

Read your reply over again, and see if you don't agree with me that your statement is just plain stupid. I don't normally disparage a person for having an opinion, but to compare me with that dirt bag is pretty low, even for a liberal. However, after listening to Harry Reid, Grayson, Pelsosi and even Obama disparage Republicans, I can see that you don't feel any remorse for your comment. If you were following the thread correctly, then you would understand the flow of the comments and how it started out with the deaths of children associated with the concealed carrying seniors of the Villages.

But, I doubt you will comprehend it, so I am probably wasting my time on you.

That's not relevant, is it? Abortion by accident is one thing. Abortion as a means of birth control is not only lazy, dangerous and callous, but my point at the idea of saving baby lives. You may not define a fetus as a baby, but that fetus would have grown up to be a baby if spared the knife. Therefore, you are saving a baby's life by sparing it from the doctor.

Babies are accidentally killed by guns. Babies are blatantly and purposely killed by abortion. I am saying that it's hard to predict an accident, but not hard to predict the absolute, purposeful destroying of human life by the knife used by a doctor.

This was not meant to be a hijacking for an abortion debate, but rather a debate on children's death, gun ownership, accidental versus purposeful death.

Guns are here to stay, until this is no longer a free, constitutional directed country. Even then, there will be a million guns owned by citizens that the gov would make into criminals because they fear resistance from the populace. The only individuals that need fear a CCW holder, are those that wish to do us harm, or harm to our family and friends. Those animals should fear us. I only carry a gun because it is lighter than carrying around a COP or Security Guard. And being as I have been both, I fail to see the reasoning as to why I shouldn't be allowed to carry just because I no longer accompany my gun with a badge.

Guns only have two enemies: rust and Liberals.

Perhaps our esteemed president Obama should be pushing gun control in Syria, instead of threatening EO gun control here, and Climate Control with the other leading idiots of those other countries. He would probably get laughed out of office, but heck I say go for it. He doesn't seem to be afraid of stupid.

No...he had a chance to save most of those kids, along with a few 100,000 adults, but instead he drew a line and stood aside while that line was crushed in the sand.

Politics over killing anytime.

See Chicago for kids dying by guns, and then check the outrage...oh, you find none ?
