Residents who reside in the Sumter County, Marion County and Fruitland Park portions of The Villages will not have sanitation collection on Friday, December 25, 2015 or Friday, January 1, 2016. Household trash and recycling (for those residents with Friday trash and/or recycling collection) will be collected on Saturday, December 26th and Saturday, January 2nd. Please have your bags out no later than 6:00am. All others will follow your normal collection schedule. For additional information, please click here.

Marion and Sumter County Residents...For disposal of live Christmas Trees please place the tree curbside on Wednesday for pick up with yard waste. The tree must be free of tinsel or any type of decorations. If the tree has any decorations on it, it must be placed curbside with the household trash on the regularly scheduled day of pickup. If you have any questions please contact the sanitation hauler CH2MHill at 352-748-0109. Lady Lake residents should contact Waste Management at 352-787-4416 and Lake County residents should contact Lake County Solid Waste at 352-343-3776 for questions regarding disposal of live Christmas Trees.
