The Hateful Eight*(2015) - Rotten Tomatoes
I see this movie got a good review in the Villages Daily Sun from some syndicated writer. News from The Associated Press I may wait for the DVD as there are a lot of movies out now which I would rather see like Youth, Joy, and Concussion as well as another viewing of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Youth*(2015) - Rotten Tomatoes Anyone seen it and want to admit seeing it on TOTV and giving their review? Last edited by Taltarzac725; 01-01-2016 at 10:26 AM. |

I will wait until the handful of protesters get tired and go home.

Probably won't see it as the DS article referred to QT's need to make a confusing plot type film. Somehow, I don't want to work that hard to understand what is going on. I like popcorn movies better.
It bothers me a little that I can't remember the name of one his big hit films the critics loved, that most people had trouble with the plot or maybe it's me. I looked it up, "Pulp Fiction". Yuck!!!! Don't always go by critics reviews. Some of the worst movies I have ever seen, were critic's darlings!!!

I really enjoyed Pulp Fiction but the complex time shifting plot is work to follow. |

The 70mm version has an overture by Ennio Morricone who scored the film. Here is a video that showcases his extraordinary talent:

I saw it and I have seen all of his films. It was very good but I suspect most people won't get it. The musical score was outstanding. Jackie Brown is still my favorite.

The Rialto Theater (Auditorium 5) was about 60% full with no protesting retired law enforcement. There were a couple of soft talkers in my aisle which kind of angered me but I kept my cool and I guess no one else was bothered by their talking through about 15 minutes of the movie. I just hope that some people will see how selfish this is to have a conversation throughout the movie. Even for a Quentin Tarantino movie it is extremely violent. It does fit in with his style of movie-making though. |
