Default Termite Insurance

Has anyone in the Villages ever had to use the insurance policy from Deans, I was wondering if it was really needed because they only cover subterranean termites.

Check with Massey. They have termite programs for all the types of termites and wood boring insects.

I have seen several Villages homes over the past few months that are "tented" for the whole house fumigation. I would rather spend a few hundred for termite prevention than a few thousand for termite damage.

I agree. But on the same subject.....

Massey - Deans. 6 of one - half dozen of the other. Had Massey for several years and got rid of them when they tried to scare the whole neighborhood in a costly re-treatment or another option. Went with Deans. No problems so far. If there are problems down the road, I'll dump them too. Think of it as insurance.

Yes but are the termites subterranean, or are they the ones that fly in because if you read the policy they only cover subterranean.

I have the combined one from Massey that covers for the subterranean or flying termites plus all other wood boring bugs like powder post beetles.
