The starter at Turtle Mound (Jerry) found 2 dogs walking in the middle of the road by TM. Midium size, 1 black, 1 white (with collar), friendly. Radio station advised @ 6:30 am. Anyone have any info call TMGC.

Diane from RDOG and I made a trip to Jerry's house to see if we could help.

One dog is a large white male possibly lab/pointer mix with brown markings on ears and ticking on back. Approximately 50 lbs. Very sweet and good on leash. No collar/tags

The other is a young female black lab/pit mix. Pink collar/no tags.

Both may have wandered off during the storm this morning,possibly from Wildwood, as they were found at 466A and Buena Vista by Jerry at 5:30am. I called Wildwood police who sent out an email blast to all deputies patrolling in hopes someone will recognize them from the description above.

Jerry is a saint for picking them up and hanging onto them all day. If anyone can help him out with fostering that would be great. Otherwise they'll be going to Sumter County in the morning.
He has them crated in his home tonight.

They were turned in today at The Sumter County ASPCA. At least they are safe, have food and will check to see if micro chipped. Hopefully they will be reunited with owners soon!
