Some friends are coming to take a look at the villages. At this moment the only thing I want to do is start the day with a bus real estate tour and end it with an early bird dinner at Katie Belles. They do not prefer driving at night and will be returning to Disney.
I think I'd like to hit all the points of interest. Is there a list someplace? Off the top of my head I'm thinking of Polo Grounds, softball fields, the Sharon [lobby?], lawn bowling, shooting range, woodshop, all 3 squares, Eisenhower or the new Regional with the gym and Big Cypress. Did I miss anything? They like looking at homes for sale so I might take them to an open house if it's nearby. |

Not sure what they know about TV............but starting with a current map of TV is very informative, from 10,000sf. This shows the entire development, the squares, the courses, the retail and commercial areas. Then you can show them the items you are going to visit and then they might ask to see something specific.
These are the visits I love guiding with my guests. Good Luck!!! |

Sounds like your plan will use up the 6 hours, then send them on their way!

I would go to the Lighthouse restaurant for lunch and walk around Sumter Landing, take the trolley tour so they can get the full picture, take them to a couple of model homes if they are thinking of buying, go to a couple of rec centers (Eisenhauer is impressive), show them a pool, drive to Brownwood if you have time

I was always impressed with the luxury of the sales office in LSL. I would stop by and get them a sales packet.
Six hours is not much time but you seem to have the right idea.

I'm a mile from Brownwood. I thought I would start at my house and go to Big Cypress pointing out plametto, mangrove and sweetgum. Then do a walk around Brownwood and get on a tour bus. I'll try it out the day before and see where it goes. |

Take them on a tour of the bathrooms in tbe sales offices and squares. The LSL outdoor on the lake bathrooms are marvelously beach-y. The ladies room in the LSL sales office has gold accents. I could go on and on.
I love the outside exercise area at Rohan. It's an interesting visit.

Six hours is such a short time. Think I'd do the trolley tour, one rec center, a square for lunch and chatting with villagers. Then, maybe an open house or two. And, of course, a golf cart ride.
