Someone asked me why a four day tournament ended on Saturday.

Is this normal for the LPGA?

I did enjoy the finish, especially it being in Ocala as I had just played in similar weather here . I felt bad for the player who 3 putted twice....but that is golf on the final day ...

Thanks

Hope a lot of Villagers got out to the tournament, I was there all week. It's a great event and these ladies deserve the support.

Ending on a Saturday is not normal for the LPGA and I suspect the reason they did that was to avoid losing attendance due to the Super Bowl.

They had a Saturday finish to avoid going up against the Superbowl.
