This comment has bothered me all day....I thought if I just ignored it...it would go away....but it has not and I need to say the following.

SIDE NOTE....I thought about deleting my post because someone PM'd me and did not understand why I would think this was a racist remark....so I will clarify....the word BOO is often a term used by racist people in regards to Black people....if it is not intended that way....GREAT...and I apologize....but this is the way I personally took the comment. If it was not intended that way...again I apologize but it can and has been used as a racist remark.

I am not passing judgement....or accusing you of anything BTK....nor am I saying you did this on purpose.....with that said....your comment "seems" very racist to me!

I am not calling you a racist....but these are thing that IF said intentionally would make not listen to any other thing (valid or not) about McCain or Obama.

I stress that some (including myself) may take this comment as a racist remark. If you intended it in another way...feel free to explain as it doesn't really have any other political relevance.

Just my opinion....and again I am not accusing you of being racist....just think this comment could be construed as such.

If you did indeed mean to be a racist remark....all I can say is God help you.

Default WOW!!! I learned from this thread is.....

after 72 years there is another intent for a simple term like boo!!!!

Do you wonder that every time you see a cartoon this time of year that has 'boo' in it????

Also the language I used i.e. what does it sound like had/has no intention to be used as a descriptive term.

I just had to call a couple of my black friends who grew up in some pretty tough really racist infested environments. They were flabbergasted....never heard of such a claim.

Must be where you grew up. Where I grew up, if one were to want to use a racist term there would be no mistake that we did....we didn't/still don't fool with oblique inuendo.

Life will never be the same.... just kidding.
