Default Southern Lifestyles

We had heard rumor that Southern Lifestyles was doing a renovation at the Spanish Springs location....but now it seems to have a whole different name and logo...."something Direct"....

Does anyone know if this a new company or still TV's owned?

We were in there on the 16th; still called Southern Lifestyles and there was interior work being done. We discussed a special order with a saleswoman and she didn't mention there would be a issue with the 8 week delivery - no hint of a name change. Decided to pass on the sale due to the price.

Default So Lifestyles remodel

So. Lifestyles in Spanish Springs is undergoing an interior remodeling and should be open soon. I think the plan is to have an expanded floor inventory. I was there several weeks ago and looked at some things in a catalog. My sales person suggested that I wait for the re-opening and the expanded inventory. Opening should be soon.....maybe this week.

I understand that it is being turned into a Rooms-To-Go type furniture store.

This indeed is very interesting. Our developer is very smart by outsourcing most of the business' they originally created.

As you people would say "IMHO". I believe that means in my humble opinion.

Talking

Here's what I understand the new Lifestyles store in Plaza Grande will be...a more moderately priced ,full rooms of furniture store ie: Rooms To Go. Lake Sumter store will remain the same ,with lots of individual pieces to choose from and special order.

Yes I have, not very pleased with RTG. We have bought some from Southern Life Styles also. Some things are high on the wallet but alot of Quality items there. Another place to go would be Babettes in Leesburg. About a 30 minute drive or less from The Villages. We have bought alot from them. Really like that store. Here is the website, they have a really big showroom.

http://babettesonline.com

Hope the info is helpful.

Thank you G. Yesterday we went to two furniture stores in Belleview and will go to Babettes today. "Babette" sorta sounds like a showgirl to me.

they have a very nice set up there. all kinds of quality items. I believe the sales personnel are not on commission so they dont beat you up all the time.

Default Grand Opening

My sales person at the Spanish Springs So. Lifestyle store called me this AM. The grand opening is Sat. I have been waiting to look at the expanded line of dining rooms. They have expanded the inventory of "Ashley" furniture and a couple of other moderately priced brands. Hopefully, I will find something I love and complete my house furnishings.
