Does anyone know someone that has a swingweight machine and can measure a driver correctly. Not interested in either Palmer or Sarasota. They used a 48" ruler to measure and did not know what a shaft adapter was. Looking for someone that might have been a member of the late PCS.
Thanks

I bought a swing weight scale from Golfworks a few years ago and I have used it a lot. My clubs were all D-2 swing weight, but I bought a hybrid with a swing weight of D-5 and hit it very straight, so I added lead to the rest of my clubheads and made them all D-5. Here is the model I have:

The GolfWorks V-Line SwingWeight Scale

If and when we move to TV, you could certainly use it.

As to the "shaft adapter", are these what you are looking for? I have no idea what they do.

Golf at the next level........his name is John Ford, 209 S Hwy 441....

I am told that John Ford is an industry known master club maker, BUT I HAVE NEVER even talked to him. There are some articles on his methods and thinking found on the Internet.

It is unclear he is what you are looking for, if nothing else he may be interesting to talk to... I plan to at least talk to him when in market for new irons as he is supposed to be very opinionated on club making which could be interesting. He makes his own brand...

Thank you for the suggestions. I will be contacting them both for help.
As to the shaft adapter, I am not looking for one but rather one pulled from a shaft. Neither place knew what I was talking about. A shaft adapter is used on the end of a shaft for an adjustable driver so that shafts can be interchanged. Hard to believe they had no idea as these adapters have been around for a few years.
Thanks again!!
