Default Pets and TOTV

My heart goes out to families who have a pet lost. It never occurred to me how many of those loose dogs and kitties I used to run across over the years were just desperately trying to find their way back home. How easily they slip out and are gone, scared and hungry. I think TOTV has made us all much more aware. I wonder if an animal trap with some cat food in it beside the house would help bring a cat home.

No problem...just open the slot and they run...done it many times....once from inside the garage, just stuck my hand out to release the slot so he could only go one way because he growled. He can't bite me as I hit the release because of the configuration. In trying to catch a cat we caught quite a few raccoons first and all but one just lazily walked away. Raccoons love cat food and we found will eat from the dish with the cat at the same time until you scare him away.

Yes I agree the configuration with metal door release on top outside the cage makes it very simple!!

Only real problem I had was a very large raccoon that barely fit in it and would not leave. Found that feral or wild animals respond to raw chicken best.
