Well, surely you know every smartphone has an accelerometer built into it. They all know when they're moving already.

It would be a software change to disable them, when moving; say more than 25mph.

But, there's no reason my passengers can't text while I drive or that I shouldn't use the phone for GPS, while driving.

Oooops! bad idea.... Go to Plan B...Maybe need another idea for those that are not responsible with cell phones while driving or those walking and not paying attention.

Not to worry....it all starts with a simple idea. However, implementation si always the key.
