Fire Hydrant testing within the North Sumter Utilities and Villages Water Conservation Authority (NSU/ VWCA) utility areas will begin this week and continue over the next six weeks. ^ Testing will begin in District 5 and systematically move to the south through each village until complete. Residents should see no adverse impact other than the inconvenience of water streaming from the hydrant. This operation involves the irrigation system only and there should be no interruption in service.
