Default Media Letting Us Down

We are now deeply into the primaries for both parties with a number of debates behind us. Have I been napping during the discussions about how candidates are going to address our national debt, current budget, social security, Medicare, etc, etc. our did they just skip that topic. I have heard lowering taxes, more military spending, increase childcare, paid maternity leave, increase in earned income credit (tax refund even if you don't pay taxes), free education, forgiving student debt, increased health care, etc. The debate locations are packed with supporters who clap and loudly cheer for anything their candidates says. How about a real question answer session where real moderators and non-biased subject matter experts ask questions and follow-up questions with no audience or boring exchanges between candidates. You would really separate BS from facts with this format. But alas American voters prefer BS.

I guess I've been hoping the media would do their job. I believe they are the ones that have been bought. They are also the ones that really elect politicians in today's elections.

It's all about ratings which equal money. No real interest in issues, just entertainment for a society that no longer cares as long as they are amused. Imagine in the future historians will read about our country via tweets and social media postings.

Stop blaming the media. The internet is loaded with all kinds of stories with all points of views. If you can't make a decision by now, you are either dumb or just a whiner.

The media does provide the information on where the candidates stand on issues. You just have to wade through the chaff and filter substance from rhetoric. You also need to know what is really possible and what is not possible to achieve by one person, the president. It is evident that many citizens vote for the candidate that offers the most, a bribe per se, and then you have the few that look at the long term picture and vote for what is best for the country. But, you will not find an accurate assessment of one candidate's stance on issues by utilizing only one source of information.

There is NO perfect candidate. There was only ONE perfect person in this world, and he was executed by the government.

I was hoping to engage someone with an IQ more than two digits long, so much for that. With all due respect if you are satisfied with hoorah for Hilary or I'm going to make America great again you and I differ greatly as voters. Yes you can find anything you want to hear on the Internet but I have yet to read or hear a candidate explain in any kind of detail how they were going to address any of the issues brought out earlier, the media is letting us down. Can I assume you are a Kardasian fan?
