Watertown Daily Times | Who supports Donald Trump - and why
I found this very interesting about why some people are so supportive of Donald J. Trump. I am not one of these people but am trying to understand how something like Trump could possibly become the President of the United States. |

Because those that support Trump have the same ignorant mentality that elected a loser like Obama. Just what America needs, is another amateur extremist. Kasich proved that by his answers in last night's debate. Too bad he is too far behind to win. We are doomed to enduring a boorish braggart again for at least four more years.

There are issues that most of us want addressed by the next president. Trump happens to be one who has done well resonating those issues. He is like for his non-political approach/attack.
I do not like the uncontrollable constant personal counter attack mode he seems to enjoy. He comes across as being only as deep as the subject he chooses to counter attack. I suspect if he were to become elected president he like most executives will fill positions around him with people qualified and expert to do the job. A good executive surrounds himself with people that will carry of the mission/objective. Contrary to the typical politician that will fill positions based on quid quo pros or who they owe a favor to or a special interest or minority they are beholding to.....and usually none chosen have the qualifications to do the job and are instead space taker uppers that merely puppet what the presidents wants VS what needs to be done. Trump is not a "smooth" executive. He is boorish, bullish and is too defensive. He is easy to suck into a pi$$ing contest. And his name calling and denigrating of people is just out of order.......just like it is here on this forum. I will support who ever the republican nominee is; if that happens to be Trump I would count on him to hire the best (more outsiders) people to get the job done. Trump is far and away the better candidate than Clinton or Sanders. Because all people are human whether they have an R or D after their name or anything else. The majority of ALL Americans are fed up with the state of our country. I personally believe that many democrats have the same values that I do. If their choice when they go into the booth is Trump or Clinton.....they will vote for Trump and never say they did. Most Americans want America to be great again at home and around the world. Most Americans know that Obama has taken America in the wrong direction and most of us are sick and tired of being a berated people and country. Clinto is shooting herself in the foot (or the head more likely) by espousing to worship what Obama has accomplished and promising more of the same. So the people may not "like" Trump, but he is most certainly the least of the two evils. And even in his way for sure he does not promise more of the same!!!! |

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. Election cycle after election cycle, we elect an establishment approved candidate who promises change and yet nothing ever changes. The rich keep getting richer, the poor poorer. We continue to go to war, the economy falters, the border never get resolved, education continues to decline. The bridges, roads and infrastructure never gets fixed, families continue to be crushed by debt, college students can't find jobs, black on black crime continues to rise, good paying jobs continue to move out, factories continue to relocate to other countries, and we never talk about the plight of native Americans. In my mind, if you vote for one of the establishment approved candidates, nothing will ever change. If the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result, then if you don't vote for Trump, you are insane.

Trump reminds me of a junior high kid running for student body president:
If you elect me I'll outlaw homework. I'm not going to tell you how, just trust me. These republican clowns are simply a reflection of the constituents of the party. Each one of them is trying to "out crazy" the other. What kind of a fool would consider voting for someone who wants to bring back torture AND wants to kill family members of terrorists. What does that say about the hate filled morons who are supporting Trump? |

The above posts regarding why they will vote for someone like Trump remind me of the same reasons why they voted for Romney four years ago.

TRUMP running for President of our country....
.....under investigation for fraud (very enlightening interview this morning on CNN with attorney general of NY) .....says our military will disobey our laws and world wide laws upon his command, which he says he will give. .....has been disavowed by virtually every expert on protecting our country .....Even when shown to be totally wrong, will continue to lie to his rallies ......has not even a basic idea of policies of this country nor problems\ ......advocates policies that he KNOWS cannot be accomplished (tariffs, trade, economics etc) Those are factual statements easily validated (and there are MANY MANY MORE) On a subjective (cannot believe I say that because someone of any character would find them non subjective) .....is crude even when not instigated .....has a label for anyone and everyone who disagrees with him (hispanic judge...mexican protestor...muslims and of course his standards...idiot, liar, etc. This applies if you disagree with him. ....has obviously lied to all of his followers (see NY TIMES "off record remarks) One borrowed ditty.......He bragged on the air about screwing around on his wife while McCain was being flogged and beaten in a POW camp...AT THE SAME TIME...and then mocked McCain for HIS SERVICE. THIS IS THE MAN YOU WANT AS PRESIDENT |

EVIL IS EVIL....no shades of gray or degrees. Trump and Clinton either one is not a bad choice...not a terrible choice but in fact grotesque. They both should be locked up and we start over. To say, as you did, that your trust Trump to do ANYTHING is simply preposterous. On what can you possible base that ? |
