I am currently a snowbird and I have an electric cart. I have a neighbor watch my house and my cart. I connect a battery minder before I leave. How often does someone have to check the water levels if the cart is not used.

Hi Frank!
I have an electric cart too and leave it unattended for periods of time in my garage. I basically charge it up fully and unplug the main charger. Adjust the water levels in the batteries to proper level and plug in my Battery Minder as you do. I have left my cart for periods of three months with no noticeable drop in water levels using the Battery Minder and the batteries were at 100% capacity, ready to go when I returned back.

Usually have slight "flats" on the tires on our return, but they iron themselves out quite quickly. |
